VICE PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Richard McNannaWelcome back everyone!

As we aspire to greatness in 2016-2017, we should all reflect on the great things that happened at North Thirteenth Street last year. We had more students achieve Principal’s List and Honor Roll status than ever before, the number of students participating in Advanced Placement classes rose to a record level and our clubs and sports teams enjoyed successful seasons. Our graduates continued to be accepted to prestigious institutions of higher learning, including Princeton, Dartmouth and Notre Dame. We are truly heading in the right direction.

All of our students have challenges ahead of them this year. Many of our students will be preparing for the state assessments (PARCC). Our ninth graders are beginning a new and exhilarating journey, our tenth graders are embarking on their chosen Career and Technical Educational (CTE) courses of study, our eleventh and twelfth grade students are considering their many options and choosing in which direction they wish to go after graduation.

To all of you I say “Good luck” and as always my door will be open to you.

Richard McNanna
Vice Principal
