Vice Principal’s Message

Jenabu C. Williams, MPA, M.Ed It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I welcome you to the 2020-21 school year! As we prepare to reopen school in the midst of a Global Pandemic, the Newark Tech school goals and our expectation for students and staff have not changed. Our students CAN and our students WILL be successful this year.

As your school Vice Principal my primary role is to support Principal Morales with ensuring that instruction and learning are taking place in each classroom and with ensuring that our school building is safe. I am committed to making sure that the Climate and Culture of our school is healthy and vibrant by modeling the expectation for students and staff every single day. How we treat each other, matters!

I look forward to working with all stakeholders as we work collaboratively to make sure our students don’t simply survive the pandemic but our students thrive during this time as well. As we reimagine education through the lenses of in-person, hybrid, and virtual instruction I want to challenge everyone to hold the Newark Tech Administrative team accountable to everything we say. We are committed to creating a learning environment that welcomes, supports, and affirms the identity of every student by leveraging their assets and their abilities. We are all in this together!

If you have questions or concerns at any time during the school year, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to working with each of you and to 2020-2021 being our best year yet at Essex County Newark Tech!
