Mission Statement
The mission of the Newark Tech soccer program is to provide student-athletes with an opportunity to compete successfully in a program that is an integral part of their educational experience. The experience will provide a personalized learning environment with equitable participation opportunities for student-athletes to develop their leadership potential and skills. Win or lose, the Newark Tech Soccer program will encourage student athletes to provide a winning effort, exhibit sportsmanship, and demonstrate respect for all on and off the pitch.

The goal for the Newark Tech Volleyball program is to develop values that foster leadership in life and on the court. Coaches provide encouragement to the athletes as they develop solid fundamental skills in the sport. Qualities such as responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork and grace under pressure are emphasized in our program. We aim to help young women achieve their academic, athletic and personal potential during their time at Newark Tech.

Girls Volleyball
Season Preview
The 2012 volleyball season is fast approaching and it looks to be another successful one. Exciting changes this year include the return of Mr. Benton as jv coach and the team's new membership in the Super Essex League. These facts combined with last season's 23 wins have infused a heightened enthusiasm and dedication among the players.
Varsity players Warleny, Genely, Essence, Sheena, Barbara, Daralys, Jovian, Miranda and Star return as seniors. Most of the girls honed their volleyball skills during the winter by playing at the Newark YMCA. The girls are playing better than ever and welcome the challenges that they will face with this year's schedule.
