DIRECTIONS

 

 

From the Garden State Parkway North:

Take exit 148. The first traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp is Bloomfield Avenue. Make a right turn onto Bloomfield Avenue. Pass through Bloomfield, and look for Staples shopping center on left. North 13th Street will be on right-hand side beyond shopping center. Make a right turn onto North 13th Street and take to the end. The school is number 300 on the right-hand side.

 From the Garden State Parkway South:

Take exit 148. At the second traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, make a left turn onto Franklin Street. There will be a traffic light underneath the Garden State Parkway. Continue straight to the second traffic light and make a right turn onto Newark Avenue. The next traffic light will be Bloomfield Avenue. Make a left turn onto Bloomfield Avenue and follow directions above.

 From Route 280/Newark Area:

Take Route 280 West to the Garden State Parkway North. Follow directions above.

 From the New Jersey Turnpike North or South:

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 15 to Route 280 West. Follow directions above.

 

  Watsessing Park in Bloomfield (Boys Soccer):

Watsessing Park is adjacent to the Garden State Parkway (near exit 148) on the Southbound side and Bloomfield Avenue. From the Garden State Parkway South exit 148, take the exit ramp to the third set of lights and make a right turn onto Bloomfield Avenue. Go to the next traffic light, which is Glenwood Avenue, and make a left turn. Go approximately one-quarter mile. The field will be on your left.

From the Garden State Parkway North exit 148, go across Bloomfield Avenue and bear left at the semi-circle that goes underneath the Parkway. At the next light make a right turn onto Bloomfield Avenue. Go to the next traffic light, which is Glenwood Avenue, and make a left turn. Go approximately one-quarter mile. The field will be on your left.

 

Directions to Branch brook Park for North 13th St. Cross Country

 

1. Take exit 15W off the New Jersey Turnpike.

2. Follow 280 West to Clifton Avenue exit.

3. Make a right onto Clifton.

4. When proceeding up Clifton Avenue you will

     see the entrance to the park on your left. Make

     that left into the park.

5. Once you enter the park you will go about 50 yards

     and there will be a stop sign. Make a left turn. You will

     see the skating rink to your left when you prepare to

     make the turn.

6. Please follow the road through the park. As you proceed

    there will be a lake on your right. You will pass the construction

    site where they are redoing the baseball field. You will go under

    an overpass. Just stay in the park.

7. After you go under one overpass you will reach a point where

    the road divides. DO NOT EXIT THE PARK BY GOING TO THE

    RIGHT. FOLLOW THE YELLOW LINE AND STAY IN THE PARK.

8. As you proceed you will see a clearing on your left. By then you

    will see the team or the bus.

 

Belleville Park "4 Diamonds" (Boys Baseball and Girls Softball):

Take Route 280 West to exit 14 (Clifton Avenue). Make a right turn at the light onto Clifton Avenue. Take Clifton Avenue to Bloomfield Avenue. Make a right turn onto Bloomfield Avenue and go one block to Mt. Prospect Avenue. Make a left turn onto Mt. Prospect Avenue and follow all the way to Mill Street. Make a left turn onto Mill Street and follow all the way to Belleville Park. The park will be on your right.

Go through Branch Brook Park until you come to Mill Street and make a right turn. Follow Mill Street all the way until you see Hendricks Field Golf Course. Belleville Park is next to the golf course.
